By the time I finished high school, I had already switched plenty of kindergartens and schools. For years, I thought the problem was me, that I just wasn’t smart enough.

Stories became my way of breathing. When life felt too heavy (and yes, it feels heavy even when you’re 12), I escaped into books.

In 5th grade, I read Think Big by Ben Carson. That book flipped a switch, and made me realize I wasn’t broken, and that I could do it too.

That’s why I believe a single story can change a perspective, and a perspective can change a life.

It changed mine.

Stories are how we love. How we learn. How we remember. They’re the most powerful currency we have.

And it’s why we’re building Lifetoon. To democratize imagination. To give kids, teachers, and creators access to stories that don’t just entertain, but awaken. To make visual storytelling the language of connection in a world drowning in content but starving for meaning.

When we create and share our own narratives, we also help others feel seen. And sometimes, a single story is enough to change a life.

The next cultural revolution won’t come from consuming stories. It will come from creating them, together.
